Courses at CSAD

Below you will find the full list of courses on offer here at CSAD. You can choose to browse by subject, which groups courses by their discipline, from undergraduate through to postgraduate level. Alternatively you might prefer to look for a specific course in either the undergraduate or postgraduate lists. Evening, weekend and Masterclasses at CSAD are delivered by Cardiff Open Art School.

Studio Fees from 2012/13

From 2012/13, all new undergraduate students, registered on CSAD programmes, will not pay studio fees, nor will they meet the costs of those trips which are a component part of the delivery of the curriculum.

This means that CSAD will provide core materials for the undergraduate programmes and will carry the costs of essential visits. Students will be expected to pay for specialist and additional materials, for example where a student elects to use something exceptional in their work for their final show in the third year.

It is understood that most students will choose to bring their own hand tools, cameras, laptops and personal equipment to aid their individual development as artists, designers and architectural design technologists. CSAD continues to encourage this.
