Biography
Dr Ashley Morgan currently runs the BA in Media Studies with Visual Cultures at the Cardiff School of Art and Design, in addition to teaching into the MA in Communication and organising Research Seminars in the Department of Creative Communication. She is co-convenor of the research group, MeAT, and is a member of the International Super-research Group, WIRAD. She is an advisor on the Ethics Committee for CSAD and has acted as an internal assessor and advisor on a number of PhD’s in the School.
Current research
Dr Ashley Morgan has just written a paper in collaboration with Dr Andrew Walters from the National Centre for Product Design, Cardiff which will be published in the Doctoral Education for Design 2011 Conference.
Ashley is currently writing a paper on the representation of masculinity in the American television programme, The Big Bang Theory.
